The arrangements for up-bringing, education etc. of orphaned children are not institutionalized, but within the society itself, the person willing to do it in the family of the closest relative/acquaintance of the child and the girl child, on behalf of the state, makes education, food, Providing clothing and other necessary facilities. In this way, this scheme run by the state government is unique in the whole of India.

Eligibility for grant money
If the boy and girl child is from 0 to 6 years, then ₹ 500 per month is payable and if the boy girl is from 6 to 18 years, ₹ 1000 per month is payable. Apart from this, for clothes, shoes, sweaters and other essential work, an annual grant at the rate of Rs.2000 per year (except for the category of widows and relatives) per orphan is also provided.

Required documents – Copy of Death Certificate, Widow Pension PPO Number, Remarriage of Parents if remarried, Disabled should be more than 40%, Jan Aadhar Card, Income Certificate, Domicile, Aadhar Card, Aadhar Card of all children and study certificate from the class and school in which you are studying, etc.

note
1. It will be mandatory to update the child’s registration at Anganwadi center/study in school every year in July through E-Mitra Kiosk, otherwise payment of due amount under Palanhar scheme will be stopped from the month of July.
2. Palanhar’s Bhamashah card has been included as a mandatory document. Therefore, it will be mandatory to present the Bhamashah card to the parent (Palanhar’s mobile number is not recorded in the Bhamashah card / mobile number is closed / mobile number is changed or any kind of personal information of the parent like name, date of birth, bank In case of updating the account number etc., it will be mandatory to update the above information in Bhamashah card.
3. Aadhar card of the child has been included as a mandatory document. Therefore, it will be mandatory for the parent to present the child’s Aadhar card and the child’s biometric or OTP. Verification will have to be done through (One Time Password) (in case of mobile number not being entered in the child’s Aadhar card / mobile number switched off / mobile number changed or any kind of personal information of the child like child’s name, date of birth etc. In the event of updating in the Aadhar card, it will be mandatory to update the above information in the Aadhar card.
